Return of Passports
Once we receive your
passport from the High Commission or Consulate General, we can arrange
for it to be sent in a Special Delivery Envelope (SDE) by Royal
Mail (optional service) to your home/office address at a nominal
charge of £7.40. Please remember maximum two processed passports
shall be returned in one envelope. You are requested to pay the
charges for the same along with the visa fees and VFS service charges.
If you are sending your application by post,
we can also arrange for postal return in a SDE, at a nominal charge
of £7.40 per envelope. Please remember maximum two processed
passports shall be returned in one envelope. Please make sure the
pay order you send along with your postal application includes the
charges for postal return as well.
Processed passports should be collected from the India Visa Application Center where it was submitted.
Applicants who want to collect their passports at the India Visa
Application Center will need to produce original and a photocopy
of receipt issued at the application center at the time of submission.
Note: All applicants are personally responsible for their receipts.
Delivery of passport would be done to the bearer of the original
receipt. Hence you are strongly advised to report any loss or theft
of receipt immediately to the India Visa Application Center where
you submitted your application.
Please remember to verify visa particulars when you receive the
passports.

- 1300 hours - 1630 hours- at the Visa Application Centers
